Karpaty Tango Festival Rules
1. After successfully registering, participants will receive an automated email with registration details. If you encounter any issues, please contact the Organizer.
2. Within 14 days of registration, the Organizer will send payment information. If the email does not arrive, please check your SPAM folder or contact us by email or phone.
3. Registration is confirmed only after payment has been received. Payment is due within 7 days of receiving the transfer details.
4. Transfer processing may take several days – participants will receive an email confirmation once the funds have been received.
5. Registration is possible as a pair or solo. Each registered participant will receive a separate email.
6. For the comfort of participants, the Organizer strives to maintain an appropriate balance between leaders and followers. Those registering without a partner may be placed on a waiting list until a suitable person registers.
7. Space at the festival is limited.
8. Failure to pay by the deadline may result in the registration being canceled.
9. The participation fee depends on the date the registration form is received by the Organizer.
10. If a participant withdraws after confirmation of participation, the participation fee is non-refundable, unless the Organizer decides otherwise in an individually justified situation or applicable law provides otherwise. A participant may transfer their place to another person (of the same role) after prior arrangement with the Organizer. Changes should be reported by email to: karpatytango@gmail.com
11. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the program, schedule, location of individual events, lineup of presenters or DJs for organizational, technical, or other reasons beyond the Organizer's control. Changes that do not significantly impact the nature of the event do not constitute grounds for claims or refunds.
12. The Organizer is not responsible for the inability to carry out the event or any part thereof due to force majeure, in particular sudden events beyond the Organizer's control, such as administrative decisions, breakdowns, artist illness, transport disruptions, security threats, or other circumstances that prevent the event from taking place as planned.
13. Photographs and recordings may be taken during the event to document its progress. Materials presenting the general nature of the event, including participants as part of a larger whole, may be used by the Organizer for informational, documentary, and promotional purposes, particularly on the Internet, social media, and in materials regarding the current and future editions of the festival.
14. Participants participate in the event at their own risk, taking into account their health and physical abilities. Participants agree to adhere to safety rules, good manners, and respect for other participants.
15. The Organizer is not liable for any damage resulting from the actions of participants, third parties, non-compliance with the regulations, or unforeseen events, except for damage caused by the Organizer's intentional fault.
16. The Organizer is not liable for items left unattended during the event. Participants are requested to secure their personal belongings themselves.
17. Registration constitutes acceptance of these Regulations.

Pursuant to Art. 13, sec. Pursuant to Articles 1 and 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 ("GDPR"), we hereby inform you that:

Personal data provided via the website www.tangokarpaty.pl or by email to karpatytango@gmail.com (name, surname, email address, telephone number, and other data provided voluntarily) are processed solely for the purpose of organizing and implementing the Karpaty Tango Festival event and contacting participants.
3. Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
processing registration and participation in the event,
organizational contact,
accounting and tax settlements,
event documentation,
pursuing or defending potential claims,
informing about future editions and similar events organized by the Controller.
4. The basis for data processing is:
Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the GDPR – performance of the contract related to participation in the event,
Article 6, paragraph 1, letter c of the GDPR – obligations arising from accounting and tax regulations,
Article 6, paragraph 1, letter f of the GDPR – the Controller's legitimate interest related to the organization of the event, event documentation, communication with participants, and information about future editions of the event.
5. Data may be transferred to entities cooperating in the organization of the event, such as entities
6. Your data will be stored for the duration of the event and then for a period of 24 months after its completion, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

delete your data,
restrict processing,
file an objection,
transfer your data,
withdraw consent to the extent it was granted.
8. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
9. Providing your data is voluntary, but necessary to participate in the event.
10. Your data will not be used for profiling or automated decision-making.
